…So after several years of hiding out on LJ and Avoiding This Sort of Blogging Like the Plague, I’ve decided to get an account on WordPress. If you’re reading this, welcome~! My name, at least on the Internet, is Kae, and I’m happy to have you along for the ride! ♥

This blog is titled “orz” after a uniquely Japanese emoticon that’s made to look like a guy kneeling on the ground; it’s meant to represent great shame or embarrassment – or, in Internet lingo, Epic Fail. It will serve as the archive for all of the articles and stories that I have written that ended up published in broad sheets, anthologies and other similar things. This will also be where I will post my academic papers and my not-so-official discourses on fandom, anime, manga, games, books, literature, and other areas of personal interest to me. Some of my things will only be available in PDF format.

I will attempt to post at least once a week, or, barring that, at least twice every month. Expect updates either in the middle of the week or over the weekend!
